As you may know, the whole APS team, directors and Student Support Officer, meet up quarterly in person to strategise for the months ahead. Working as we do, remotely and on a volunteer basis, it’s so important that we take the time to see each other face to face, and reaffirm our shared vision to build, support and connect student pro-life societies.
We always try to meet in the most cost effective place, and, believe it or not, with directors currently scattered across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, on this occasion, St Andrews, where are lovely Student Support Director is based, fit the bill! This conference was particularly important as it was our first one after the AGM, and we had to get to grips with who would be doing what role going forward. We’ll be revealing some of those decisions over the next few weeks. It was also exciting to hear what our different committees have been up to, discuss our resources, and plan for our upcoming events!
All in all, it was a great weekend, and we left re-energised and ready to continue in our work of supporting you as you build the student pro-life movement on your campuses. Our thanks to Becky for hosting us, to the various venues in St Andrews for giving us meeting space, and the entertainment from Students for Life St Andrews.
